On any P&L probably the most expensive line item would be the people; however the hidden expensive line items are probably operational inefficiencies like misalignment, employee disengagement, or indecision.

Work can be challenging when we are not listening, making assumptions, having expectations and taking things personally. Because when the flow of tasks moving between each other is inefficient they become blocks to the business and drain your energy.

Conversations tend to be pushed aside for something else deemed more important. I would argue, from experience, that having consistent dialogue with everyone, is a difference maker in successful companies.

Using CID™‍ - gives you the chance to address the common interpersonal issues; assumptions and expectations, to seek out conflict, identify bottlenecks, create belonging. Everyone will move in the same direction and the P&L will thank you for it.
