My Story:

I discovered my passion at a post house working with on a Quantel Paintbox—creativity and technology combined.

This led to prestigious work at Sight Effects, a boutique studio in LA. Super Bowl spots and Nike campaigns with W&K, including the original Bugs Bunny Michael Jordan spot. My boss used to say "We don't just do jobs, we conquer them," which seemed over the top then, but I've carried that everywhere: if you're not conquering, what are you doing?

After moving to NYC and freelancing, I spent fifteen years at The Mill, rising from Lead Artist, VFX Supervisor, co-head of 2D, Operations to the Managing Director. This is where I became fascinated with how businesses actually run. My observation was simple: take great care of staff and they'll deliver. I convinced my boss to let me manage the team rather than be "on the box,". That a 1:1 management approach of the artists would achieve high retention and profitability, it did. I had transitioned from being a creative to managing creatives.

After reaching the pinnacle of MD at The Mill NYC studio, I left to join Harbor Picture Company as the MD of Advertising. With a mindful approach to management, sales and employee development, the company had significant growth and profitability.

That success led me to coaching because I realized people make all the difference—in work quality, client experience, and business success. Having spent decades proving that investing in people drives both creative excellence and bottom-line results, I now help others discover how taking care of their teams isn't just the right thing to do, it's the most profitable approach to building a thriving business.

Any of the success I have had in this business has been down to many great people that I had the pleasure of working with. Other people decide your future. You might want to be a success but you need other people to endorse, hire, promote, support you along the way. Take care of the people you hired, for a job you created. Pay attention to the processes you have put in place and good things will happen.
